I have a Metuchen built 1966 GT convertible. Red with white top

Should there be a loop on interior back, appears there is a snap for one to hook to?
If so anyone have a pic of this? I doubt there is a source to buy one. Material to make it out of?

If there is a snap there should be a strap and the other half of the snap. So your convertible top must be a replacement. My replacement came with the strap. There should also be a leather strap on the zipper. The zipper should be brass. I can post photos of mine, but it is a replacement and this site likes originals so maybe someone can post original photos.

The material was originally 'stretchy' type. With a needle/thread, shouldn't be too much trouble to add it. You'll need the tool to install the snap head on the end also. A local auto upholstery shop may have one you can borrow.

Thanks for assistance, will get to work on it.
