Having a hard time finding details on this. Does anyone know if the center armrests for the bench seat are the same for a 1967 and 1968 models?
-
I am not for sure but I believe they are the same. I think I have parts of a 68 one. You might check the assembly manuals to be sure.
-
I only have the 1968 Assembly Manual which lists the assembly as C5ZB-65644A22. I’m assuming the assemblies are the same since it isn’t a C8 part but wanted to verify before I pull the trigger on ordering a part. Anyone here able to verify the assembly with a 1967 Assembly Manual?

According to the MPC (attached) 644A22 is for the arm rest, less cover and pad.
The pad is 65478, and the cover is 644A18.
65-68 all refer to the exact same diagram in the MPC.
Please see the attached document, I hope it helps you out.

In answer to your original question, yes - except for the vinyl covering (pattern, color ?). The individual pieces are all shown as C5ZB-65xxxxx which can be interpreted as 1965 Mustang items used in 1968.
