Anyone have schematic and tune up procedures for a 7TPZ AM Radio for a 67 or 8TPZ for a 68?
Regular AM radio.
Not the external wiring diagrams but the internal schematics.

The manual(s) that contain the information you need are Sams Photofacts, auto radio series. For the 7TPZ chassis you need Photofact #AR-41. For the 8TPZ chassis you need #AR-48. If you check Ebay you can pick them up there pretty cheap. I don't have either copy you're looking for, but I have collected the various ones for the AM, AM-FM and AM/8 Track radios for 65-66 models. They're a treasure trove of info!

Hi,
I am interested in getting these books or papers for my 6TPZ Philco out of my 66. How much would you charge me to scan it and email it to me?
Thanks in advance,

JKWilson,
Do you know what issue is required for an early 1965 Ford Mustang built December 1964 in San Jose?
Thanks!

Bryan, shoot me a PM with your mailing address and I'll see about digging it up and sending you a copy.

I'll have to look it up in the index. I don't have it handy right now, but I'll try to find it tonight or tomorrow for you.

I'm sure Jeff could probably confirm the common radio installed in an early '65 SJ car, but here's the info I've found:
It appears the radio would have been the Bendix model, 4TBZ (Ford part numbers, C4AZ-18806 or C5ZZ-18805). If it's this model then the Photofact manual is AR-32. If it's a Philco (5TPZ, Ford #C5ZZ-18805-BA), or the Motorola (5TMZ, Ford #C5ZZ-18805-B),then it's manual AR-28.
I'm not some radio guru and am happy to give credit where due. The info I've listed above comes from:
http://www.hammar.dyndns.org/~djhamma/radiolist.htm
Hope that helps!
p.s. I don't own either one of these two manuals. :(

Bryon I have the one for a 68 AM/FM if that would help you. Let me know and I can copy and mail to you.

Thanks, but I doubt they are very similar.
JKWilson said he had specifically collected the 66 one that I need.
Again...THANKS.

Just so you know Bryan, I'm off work (so I can work on my car!), but going into the office this weekend. I'll get the copies made and in the mail to you! :)

THANK YOU VEEERRRRY MUCH!
-
JKWilson Thank you for the lead! I am off in search the manual.

Glad to help! :)
Just as a heads up, there's currently copies of both listed on Ebay. Just search under "photofact ar28" or photofact ar32". They're pretty inexpensive ($10 or less!).
