Title: Help ID rubber spiral cut hose
Post by: 67gta289 on July 15, 2018, 09:28:18 AM
Came across this in a parts box.  Spiral cut rubber apparently used as a protective sleeve.  If you know the application, I would appreciate it.

Looks a little big for the strips put around the trunk torsion bars -  the first thing that comes to mind

Yeah I thought of that also but these are much larger.

What about the metal portion of the power steering lines underneath? Not sure of the year of the application/car. It wouldn't have been on 64.5 - 66 cars for example. It seems like I've seen something like that before but have no idea where, sorry.

Power steering hose protection was the second thing I thought of and looked at, but all that I’ve seen are metal.

Looks a bit thick for protecting rubber brake lines.  How about for the rear brake cables?
