Title: Have access to a 5C26 stamped block...

A shop I deal with is offering me a '65 289 engine which is stamped 5C26. I'm unsure of its condition, and it may have been apart.

I'm thinking of rebuilding it myself and keeping as a spare for my '65, but will pass it on if someone really needs it.

Thoughts?

Guess you could place an ad in the Ford sale area with a little description of your situation
