Can anyone out there steer me in the right direction to either find the original AM radio for my 65 Mustang or know of someone or somewhere you could get one refurbished?

There were hundreds of thousands made, just have to find one in good condition or one that has been restored. Might want to start with a wanted ad in that section since members will not typically respond to request for parts in these sections. As for repair shops they often don't want to deal with shipping and postage. Guess you have checked locally for an older radio tech still doing this sort of repair. Hemmings use to list (long lists) of services offered might check on their web site

I have a pretty nice original 66 one that I went through and cleaned up, took it apart and clean and lubed all working parts... works great. Also saw Charles has one listed in the parts section as well, but can always PM if you're interested in this one... both are pretty nice...
Thanks,
Jason
