late build June 1970 351C....auto, ac Dearborn convertible
would it have an Autolite or Motorcraft?
casting numbers?
Thanks,
-
Easy one first - would be cast with the Autolite script in the housing. Motorcraft didn't come into use for a few more years.

Probably D0OF-Z but late 70 AT usually got the distributor modulator system don't know if that makes any difference
-
M code or H code ?
My Late Dearborn M code Mach1 (Auto, AC) has a D0OF-Z Distributor, I'm sure it's original.
Hope this helps, John
EDIT... I took my comment about the 2bbl Distributor out cause I'm not sure it's right. The 70 Shop manual specifies an AO suffix but everything else I read says otherwise .....

My Late Dearborn M code Mach1 (Auto, AC) has a D0OF-Z Distributor, I'm sure it's original. I think an H code (Auto) would be a D0AF-AO
Hope this helps, John

Thanks Jim, never knew to look there great info...
assume the last column is for a Motorcraft service replacement and the factory originals are all Autolite on the chart?
