Title: White Woven Wire covering
Post by: Sunlitgold68 on November 01, 2010, 09:12:44 AM
Is there anyplace that makes the white woven material that covers the rear wiring harness and the harness that runs inside the vehicle? I looked at www.riwire.com and didn't see anything like this. What are others doing to make the woven material look better?

Your only option is to find NOS, mint original or have your original wiring re-woven.  Jim Thayer at Alloy Metal Co., may be able to help you.  They make a lot of reproduction wiring, the best on the market in my opinion.  You may want to simply purchase one of their reproductions, they're very nice.

The wires look pretty good, just the woven material is bad off in some places. Does the Alloy Metal Company make the woven material?

Try Mac's restoration parts. I know they have the woven in black.
