Title: One of a kind 1969 Cougars

I've heard talk that one non-Eliminator 1969 Cougar was produced with engine code G (Boss 302). Is this legend or fact? Same question about a 1969 Eliminator being produced with a 427. This is just curiosity on my part. Thanks, Chuck

All 1969 "G" code Cougars were Eliminators.  There was one 1970 "G" code Cougar that was not designated on its invoice as an Eliminator, but does have Eliminator called out on its buildsheet.

There were zero 1969 cars produced by Ford Motor Company with a 427 engine.  There was an "R" code 1969 Eliminator incorrectly reported by an owner as a "W" code.
