Title: WTB door striker post screws

Hey all,

Newbie to the site. I am looking for one door post screw 5/16 x 18 for and early 1967 stang. I only need one but someone has a set then I would buy all 4 of them. Please see the attachment.

These can be bought at most of the repro parts dealers, ask for the AMK ones.

Charles,

The AMK screws you are referring to are different then the ones posted in my attachment. I have not been able to locate these even after checking with AMK themselves. Please compare with picture. The head has a different pattern then just a normal screw Note the "star" pattern.

I'm looking at several screws, 378428-S7 is the appropriate part number, that I had plated for a current project, and a bag of four from AMK, B-3685, and I can find no difference except the indent on the tip of an original is visibly deeper than the AMK supplied ones.

The star pattern means it's a posi-type.  AMK definitely reproduces these.  Worst case scenario, send me a PM, I have a bunch of originals.
