Title: 67 BASE ON 68 CONSOLE

Has anyone used a base from a 67 console on a 68 console? Looks like some trimming for the seat belt pockets but how about the back where the 68 has an ashtray?

It is the same basic base. I think using 67 on 68 works better than 68 on a 67 if memory is right.
Some consoles have been trimmed on Convertibles, Manual Trans and/or A/C equipped cars.

So depending on those options and if your donor was perhaps from a Non-AC, Coupe/Fastback 67...you can trim it or not as needed  to work with any combination of options.
