Title: Rattle Can Blues
Post by: jsohc on May 12, 2019, 12:18:10 PM
Here is some blues to compare to. To me Omni and Hi tach is on the money. I used 1606 for a long time. Until I compared. Its way to dark to me.
Thanks Jack in Ga.

With the use of digital cameras and individual monitor settings its real hard for a viewer to see what your seeing in person

Plenty of prior discussions on what members have found works the best and holds up the best (hint its not rattle cans ;).  As far as matching original colors I always (when I use to use rattle cans a few decades ago) found the Plasticote version to be spot on for the small block applications. Big blocks, likely due to he fact that they were assembled at a different plant, were always a slightly darker final look

And also welcome to the site. Hope you find the information and support helpful in your concours related projects

But it does show the range of "blue".

I just did this to show some different blues out of a can. Not saying any of it is correct. But maybe help some one that needs to see different blues by brand.
