FYI they are also used on 65/66 GT350. Given the rarity if any come up for sale I would suggest buying them even if they are not date correct . You can use them for trade or you might not get another opportunity to buy some regardless of date. I know of one guy in particular who has been looking for a couple years now. Just saying. Best of luck on the search.

Just seeing this... My original springs are from my Nov built SJ fastback. It looks like the date is 45 6E and 65 6E??? Can anyone tell me how this decodes?

Did you check the library section of this forum? It has a section on date code and how to decode them.

As Jim mentioned there is a large, 46 page, article in each years directory in the Library section of the site ;) Titled Decoding Date Codes
Sure others reading your post haven't found it yet but because of your question they will now :)

I just seen your signature and noticed that the springs couldn't be original to your 66 clone if the car was built in Nov. 1965? Like Bob mentioned of date decoding, that your springs would decode approximately February 15th of 1966 and March 8th, 1966?
