Title: 70 grille

ok did some searching on here on double check on grille color and find a conflict  some say it dark argent  and see  3b say it is med driftwood met  so what is what color

Grille ?
trim surround ?

Trim/surround is dark argent

The FAQ reference was taken from a period paint chip page. Today allot of owners just use the same dark argent, Originally there may have been a slight variation between the two (grill and trim) since they were painted at different suppliers with different paint.

Others may have suggestions based on what they found that worked for them

thanks jeff   so was there any one with a input on what the grille color? is it the same as trim or was it a different ?

I always thought that the grill and the trim paint were both dark argent, but I'll let brighter minds confirm that one.....

However, Don't go by the color of NOS parts, the color of both the grill parts and the trim vary wildly during the production of the parts ....
