Title: Axle code
Post by: Juanball Mustang on August 06, 2019, 06:34:46 AM: Just received the Marti Report for my July 27th '67 convertible. It has an axle code of "O" . 2.79 :1 conventional diff . That code doesn't show up in any references I've looked at . Any thoughts on why this is or am I missing something ?

+1 Could almost predict the question just by looking at the title of the thread.

Ford missed it and hundreds copied and repeated the mistakes over the decades

Correct in 67 (it changed in 69) its an "0" not a "O" In 69 - up its a "O" (letter) not a "0" (number) ::)
