Title: drive shaft colors for 1970 Stang

I have the build sheet but can't read anything so my question on a general basis what colors would I put on the driveshaft

You shouldn't put any stripes on until you know for sure which colors are appropriate for your particular car (plant,date,engine,trans,etc),

To comment we would first need to know when the car was built, engine and transmission combination,

"1970 Stang" doesn't do it

IF the buildsheet is hard to read due to discoloration you might want to read the article about cleaning buildsheets here on the site

Ok this Boss 302 was built at Dearborn, October 1969, 4-speed close-ratio (code is 6)

Identification stripes from front to rear for a 1970 Boss 302 from around the same time period are listed as - BUBULAV

Blue - Blue - Lavender

A picture of an original set below - of course colors are not as rich and deep as they were originally in the picture

For an extra - yokes (before they were welded to the tube) were painted orange
