Title: What to do about shock tower braces
Post by: jtrue on August 27, 2019, 10:13:33 AM
Hi guys,

My 66 Mustang came with the export brace pictured below. I can tell that there was originally something welded to the top of my shock towers. I assume it was the old two piece shock tower to firewall brace. I want this car to be as original as possible. If the two piece braces were supposed to be there, does anyone know where to find reproduction ones? All I find is the one piece export brace. Thanks for any help.

Mark

you will have to locate those welded on tabs from a parts car. those are not reproduced as far as i know. should be easy to find some.
