Title: Fuel sender dates ?

I found this today and didn't know if these parts were dated clearly not as usual but is the E on this sender possibly a month mark or a vendor mark the retaining ring also has a letter stamped.

Usually the date code is found on the outer rim. I think the E may be a makers mark.

Thanks Marty I can see it at the top of the posted pic I didn't notice it. Its stamped F8 for a July build.
