Title: 67 -68 hood
Post by: rocnhrse on October 24, 2019, 06:47:27 PM
I picked up a 68 deluxe  hood  to replace  my damaged 67 hood, all the sheet metal  and profiles are the same
The 67 hood is a service  part from early  68, the 68 hood  is a original  piece, with original  paint
My question  is did the assembly  line hoods have holes/piercing  in the to hang them on a conveyor  track to be moved or painted

Looks  like they used existing stamped holes,to hang the hood, mine looks  like they were  done with  a tapered  punch they might have been added  by someone after it  left the factory, just  wondering if  anyone  has seen these holes  in this position  before
