Title: Power Windows a factory or dealer option on a 1965 Mustang?

Hi,

does anyone know if power windows were a factory or a dealer option on a 1965 Mustang?

As a factory option the first Dearborn built cars with power windows were the 1969 model year Cougar, it was 1971 before power windows would be installed in a Mustang.

I would say neither.

+1  Consider that Mustangs, when they first came out and in many configurations, were pretty inexpensive cars built on the basic Falcon structure. Power brakes and power steering were even a bit of a overkill on such a light and cheaply built car when you compare it to the majority of other cars being built at the time.
