WTB 1968 Strut Rods
-
Still looking. Thanks
-
I got a set here earlier last year. They came bead blasted and ready to metal treat.

I didn't realize that the strut rods for 68-69 were so different than the other years.
But Royce's link had me looking and I see that not only are they different than 67s (which are straight) but the threaded ends are really different than either the earlier or later years!
I've attached a pic from the WCCC site to show how the 68-69 strut rod's threaded portion is so much different than the 67 and 70 strut rods.
Perhaps we need a thread on ALL of the different strut rods -- 65-73 -- showing how they differ.

That's one of the things I like about dealing with WCCC - they always send the right part if you take the time to be sure and order the right part. Their website (thanks Scott!) helps explain the differences to you.

For some reason my car came with one 67-68 strut and one 69-70 strut. Now I have two 67-68 struts. Thanks Bill

67 and 68 strut rods are completely different from each other . I am guessing that you probably mean that you have one side , 68-early 69 and the other side, later 69-70 .

Yes my car came with a correct 68 style and 70 style and I just acquired 2 68 style. Nice to have a matched set finally
