This was shared elsewhere so figured members here might be interested also. Its a short video of Charlie McHose who was one of the designers of the 67 Shelby. Though he was there for only a short time apparently it was an important period in the exterior design. Enjoy

At about 5:59? If you notice he states these are not original drawings but examples of what the originals would have looked like be he drew them about three years before the interview @ 5:25. May have been looking at a current Shelby to base his new illustration on. Does also mention a chin spoiler but like all of us we must realize allot of time has passed.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. It was so neat to see the joy Charlie had looking at the car after all these years. Priceless. I had to laugh at the extractor test when Chuck drove and he smoked a cigar in the back! ;D Those were the days...

It seems I read (or saw video) that the louvers were a consideration but scrapped because the Stingray was using them.
