Title: Wanted : 67 - 9" pinion retainer

Hi

I am desperately looking for a 9" pinion retainer for my 23 Dec 1966 built GT 390.

If anyone can help me out this would be appreciated !

How do you locate and decipher the date on the retainer?

If you  mean the piece in the attached picture, the dating is YEAR-Alpha Month-DAY.
As shown in Jeff's date decoding guide in the library:

Go to =>Library=>ConcoursMustang.com Official [Year of Interest] Mustang Article List and scroll down to "Date Codes"

Note that the decade should also be looked at, in this case a "C5.." above the circled date.

Hi, I am still looking to find this part. If anyone can assist it would be appreciated
