Title: 66 Mustang [Shelby] San Jose Fastback 4-speed Speedometer Cable
Post by: Kingchief on April 03, 2020, 07:24:52 PM
Hello,

What is the length and part number of the speedometer cable for a San Jose 4-speed fastback car?  A picture would be a bonus!

Thanks in advance.  All the best,

Steve

Just a bump on the length for the 4-speed cable.  I have been looking at repop cables on ebay and the part numbers appear to be C5OZ-17260-A for the 4-speed cable and C5DZ-17260-A for the 3-speed and C4 cable.  Also, from what I have seen by some of the posted lengths, the 3-speed and C4 cable [C5DZ-17260-A] is about 58" to 60" and the 4-speed cable [C5OZ-17260-A] is longer...say 68".

Can anyone please confirm or clarify this information???

Thanks in advance and stay safe.

Steve

You can download the 75 edition of Ford Car Parts (aka MPC) from this T-Bird website (we have permission from the webmaster who is a member of this forum as well) and research this information yourself. It's about 430MB and has has 45 files.
