I am hoping one of you out there can get me a few measurements. The core support on this car was replaced back in the early days, Brazed on. Really poorly done and holes for the A/C and oil cooler butchered. The new NOS core supports do not come with the Hood stop brackets installed, really dumb, well the way they brazed these back on I don't trust the measurements. So I am needing the following, from the bottom of the front frame rail to the top of the bracket and from the oval hole to the center hole of the bracket. The oval hole to each side, the pics hopefully you can see what I need. I just don't have a 67/68 sitting here to get he measurement. Thank you for any help!

My 68 CJ Measurement are 17 1/2 from the center of the hood latch rod bolt to the center of the hood adjuster bolt, and from the bottom of the frame rail to the top of the bracket is 18 5/8.

Thank you Keith!

My car is 17-1/2” (same) and 18-3/8” (close)

Maybe I will split the difference! Thanks!

I made a measurement from a different direction. The top of the hood adjuster brackets are 1 5/8 below the center line of the center bolt of the radiator support frame. This might be a way to cross check, or maybe just muddle up the whole measurement process.

they are spot welded in place, but thanks I will check that measurement tomorrow!
