Title: 67 Vent Window Channel Run
Post by: scodemike on December 28, 2010, 12:19:29 PM
Anyone have a source for the two rivets that attach the lower portion of the stainless channel run on the 67 Vent Window frame?  I am sending my vent window frames out for plating and they would prefer the stainless channel be removed, which I don't want to do, unless I can find the rivet to reattach.  Thanks, Mike

Hanson Rivet has the right size.  I have a bag of them, but you need a rivet squeezer to install them properly.  Some folks just use blind rivets.

Thanks Charles.  I checked Hanson and I like the idea, but I don't want to purchase the squezzer for a one time use.  So I think I will go the blind rivet  route, since it can't be seen.  Mike
