Title: 1966 AC drain hose hole location in floorpan
Post by: Hipo giddyup on May 23, 2020, 09:36:57 PM
I’ve already started to gather parts to add an original AC set up to my 66 Metuchen coupe. I’m starting to restore the evaporator box for the interior and I am wondering where the hole would be located for the drain hose to go through the floor pan.? Can anyone out there give me a measurement from your original AC equipped car? Thanks for any help! Bill

Ah, thx rockhouse, I was using AC instead of A/C in my searches.  ;D

That helps a lot, now, does anyone have a pic of the finished product? I will not be taking my carpet out so I need to understand what it is supposed to look like when finished. AND I need to be awful careful when drilling. (Measure twice, drill once) I'm already aware of how the carpet can pull so I use a soldering iron to melt a small hole prior to drilling.
