I have a 1/26/67 fast back san jose build date with no washer bag since I bought it. I have holes 5" apart for what looks to be bolt on bag. Within that 5", I have two bumps that are 2" apart and painted over. I am assuming that the holes 2" apart used to be where my spot welds were?

The left spot-weld here isn't quite as visible, but about the same distance from the bend as the really visible spot-weld. I'm not sure that the guy doing this spot weld would have placed the welds in the same spot every time. It's possible the apron was placed in a jig with the bracket to make sure the bracket stayed in its proper location.
If I get around to it (getting the RV ready to sell) I'll make an engineering drawing of the bracket. It doesn't look very difficult to make out of scrap metal.

OT. Are you aware that the website address is from Greenland (the .gl)?

I could really use that drawing as well! Can't seem to find a bracket anywhere!
