Title: Generator fan/pulley finish 64 1/2

What is the proper finish for the pulley and fan C20E on a 64 Mustang.  Half the generators fans in Mannel's book are painted black and half are plated. Hi-pos appear to be painted but this is for a 260. Thanks!

Only ever seen them painted black.
