Title: 64.5 wire clip under scuff plate (door sill)
Post by: midnite cruiser on August 31, 2020, 03:16:49 PM
July 64 car had 8 of these holding the wire runs under the scuff plates.
Most are cracked/missing. No luck finding P/N in the Osborn manuals.
Ribbed plug end same size as wire loop style under hood.
Is this reproduced?

The clip is shown in the 64 Electrical Assembly Manual (AM003 pg 18) as 377864-S. There are two uses for the clip, the door sill on the left for all cars, the door sill on the right for convertibles.
A different clip was used in 65 (379862-S), tape was used in 66.
All three applications are shown in the library in "Mustang Hardware Spreadsheets, 64-66".
It is not reproduced.

Thank you. I do see the numbers in the spreadsheet.
I will use some loop style wire holders so the holes are plugged then tape as needed.
