Title: Windshield moldings stainless or chrome

Are the windshield moldings stainless or chrome or both? I read about the stainless moldings but when I put a magnet to mine they stick. So I figure they are plated. But today I read that some stainless steel is magnetic. This is a convertible if it makes a difference.

Typical windshield moldings are stainless steel 65-70. I know of a few people who thought they looked better chromed so they had them done .

Just an FYI some stainless steels are magnetic.
