Title: Restoring "C" on choke cable knob

Hi,

Has anyone ever tried to repaint the "C" on a choke cable knob??? I found an old original knob in one of my tubs. I recently acquired a whole choke assembly from another valued member but I was wondering if I could do anything with this old knob! Or just toss it as spring cleaning is upon me!

Unfortunately, the "C" was not cut into the bakelite so this will not work. The "C" appears to just be stamped on the knob. The proper font would have to be duplicated along with the size for a/the stamp.

Looks like I shall just toss it.
