What is the correct finish on this bracket ? Thanks!

The cast alternator and smog mount bracket was painted with the engine

That is the one. So the color matched to the engine, which means the mounting hardware is painted as well.

It is my belief it was cast iron (not painted)  and the hardware was also unpainted

I base my suggestion on the 1968 Shelbys which were also 302 / NJ cars
