Title: Shelby rear brake drum blackout with ten spokes

Does anyone have a pic of the 66 Shelby rear brake drum blackout when equiped with the ten spokes? was it done on.car or were drums removed?. Brushed or sprayed? Flat black or satin? Shelby1102. Thank you jim

It was done at Ford on the car with a small narrow brush . Face of outer area of drum only. Not typically brushed between the studs. It is typical to see brush strokes on the outer portion of the drum face. Don't over think it. It was a quick process with little regard for neatness based on examples. Semigloss or satin black paint

Not a great example but on this one it shows a fair amount of bright rust on the face around the axle opening and older rust along the outer edge of the drum. Seen others with less paint and tighter to the axle studs. Each was was different since done by hand
