Hello legends
I stumbled underneath the car a cut tube wich appears to be cut off from the fuel tank vent?
I assume this goes to the Fuel Vapor Storage?Canister Assembly
I understand this was for california cars!
Is this important or leave it as is.
Tube to the left was cut short to the valve and am trying to find my canister
Also
Any idea what this tube is?

Any idea what this tube is? that rust ? Could I have a crack for water to sit there or is it nothing to worry about? could this be a case water from cowlrun around the outside of the black box?

From the pictures - unless they were taken from your car - show parts of a 70 California vapor return system

Considering our focus here. Yes its important since that is the way your car was originally equipped and not returning it fully to the car would mean that you have chosen a different path than restoring the car
In the link below (found using the search and the words vapor return" shows most of the route and piping associated with the system

Not sure what picture your referring to. If "C" that looks to be the drain hose for the AC if I have the location correct. As mentioned above compare the location and hose to what is in the link

No picture attached and I've got no idea of what your looking at. Sorry

The canister attaches in the area of the RH sway bar brackets but if you have lost the check valve, then it is likely you have lost the canister as well. The emission stuff was one of the first things removed from the car over the years so its not unsurprising that all of yours is gone and you can either choose to replace it or just remove the old piping and go to a normal (non-Californian) set-up. If you choose to leave the line in-place then its not going to hurt anything.
That hose looks a bit odd as the A/C drain normally sits lower in the floor-pan, to give the water a vertical drop. Maybe one of those strange modifications that has happened over the years?

The Boss 302 site has the best thread for CA emissions system on a 1970. I used it to restore mine. Tough pieces to find.

Don't think you can use the search feature to find threads unless your a member over there. Marcus did a niece article on the system also. Link to it is in the other thread mentioned above
I added to the same thread and new post some of the pictures I posted to the Boss 302 Reg site thread
Also here is an additional thread here on the site with the routing of the system
