Is the 68 carpet cut off line the same on a Metuchen car and a San Jose car above the pedals? My original carpet was missing on the Metuchen car and I have a unrestored San Jose car that has the original carpet.

Found a couple of different cars and pictures of the drivers side forward edge of carpet
Seem to match each other. Appear to be slightly different than what I've seen on 67 San Jose. Didn't take the time to look at 68 San Jose
Hope this helps

A little hard to see but there are a series of notches along that edge for the pedals, each is a different shape
This is an often overlooked detail when replacing rugs.

Thanks for the replies. I will post a picture of the unrestored 68 HCS, San Jose assembly plant. It is not much different that the Metuchen photos. Most likely they were all slightly different.

Your sj pics look a little cruder than I?m used to seeing on nj cars but that could be wear. Jeff?s pictures are typical plus the accelerator rod has cut about 2? long and 5/8? wide with radius bottom

Sticking to only Metuchen 68's,
Would this be consistent (same as) AUTO TRANS applications?
