Title: Assembly line correct battery tray mounts bolts
Post by: boss167961 on May 24, 2021, 03:47:42 AM
Gday folks
My car is a June 24 70, Metuchen build Boss 302. I have a source of NOS battery tray mount bolts but am unsure which version of bolt head markings I should use to mount my Group 21/22 tray. Choice is:
U
All are gold cad plated.

Many thanks
Martin

Here is photo of my unrestored November 25, 1969 Metuchen built 1970 Boss 302 22F battery tray bolt, has an "E" marking on head (also saw this "E" on my valve cover bolts), and is 1" thread length

I find NJ cars difficult to document due to the rust issues on nay - Sorry don't have any clear pictures or notes to help with this question
