Title: Seat belt extender

Did Ford make seat belt extenders for the first or second Gen cars? I know they did for 3rd Gen. Any secondary suppliers?

I am not aware of any secondary suppliers. NPD and others sell the various year belts and it would be a simple thing to take to a upholstery shop to have full size length cut down and seat belt tongue sewed into a buckle portion to make a extender.

No. In general, people were of slighter build back then

Another option, consider getting a set of belts from a larger Ford passenger car that has the same buckle design as yours. -or- have a longer lap belt made to suit your need.

I did run across seat belt extenders for the 3rd Gen Foxbody.

I got a set of "fat man belt extenders" free from the local Ford parts department as recently as 2010 to fit my 2008.
Ask them and you may be surprised.
