Title: Looking for a dealer option brochure 1969
Post by: Harry1003 on May 29, 2021, 06:34:06 PM
Hello,
I'm looking for a dealer option brochure for the 1969 Mustang.
Where can I buy it, or does anybody have one or a link?
A few photos would be enough for me.

Thanks in advance!!!

Greetings
Harry

Just a point of clarification

Dealers added accessories

Options were done by Ford at the assembly plants

Hopefully that will help you find what you're looking for

But dealers filled out forms for factory options for customer ordered vehicles, and there are documents associated with that process.

Are you looking for a Ford Dealer options catalog like this or the dealer assessors catalog?

It's from Ford.
It's free.

Hello,
thank's a lot!!!
In particular, I am looking for documentation on front- and rear-spoilers, louvers, rims, hood-pins etc.

I need this for a technical examiner, who doesn't believe me that these things could be ordered originally for the Mach 1 1969.

Greetings!!!

I am afraid the examiner is likely correct. For 1970 yes some or maybe all of those items were dealer options for the Mach I. 1969 is a different story.

Since  we know now your dealing with a 69 Mach I many organizations deduct for concours with spoilers or slats since they were not available from the factory. Now hood pins were part of the Mach I package and should be easy to document like the painted racing mirrors (unless it was a special order paint car) side stripes and wheels. Thought those last items were listed in the document provided above

When was your car built? Since it may have been assembled even before these parts were in the system

We see allot of these have been added over the years and are popular additions

Possible related earlier threads . Used "spoiler slats" in the search feature

Hello,
Thanks for the information to all!!!
My Mach 1 was built on March 10th, 1969 and the spoilers and slats were installed by the previous owner in 2007.
I found out that everything, except the hood pins, is documented in the 1969 illustrated manual.
I think the examiner now believes everything and let me get away without punishment.

Greetings!

Cool. Bureaucrats operate "by the book", worldwide apparently. They are immune from arguments because they have "the book". It gives them something to do - like harass you.
