Should there be a Shelby emblem below the snake on the sail panel?? Also I see various placement of the snake and emblem. What is correct? Late June build date.

They were typically dealer installed so there was a range of the number of variations in emblems and placement. In my Kansas City area for example first hand observations for fastbacks back in the day typically only had the snake installed even though we had 3 basic Shelby dealers in the area back in the day . I personally like the less is more approach as the extra name emblem tends to junk things up more then needed but that is just me.

Ones I've owned also had the SHELBY plate below the snake when we disassembled original paint cars. Two I recall - one from Calif and the other from Texas
Fair number of stories over the years of either one of the emblems being stolen from cars as they sat in parking lots or at home in the driveway
