I note that Jack Brooks - the lovely guy who is Mr Dead Nuts On - has a pair of bolts in his stock list that are ?additional? top mounted screws to secure the rad top mount plate to the rad support panel. See words and pics on Jack?s site at the following link https://www.deadnutson.com/upper-radiator-support-screws-2/ (https://www.deadnutson.com/upper-radiator-support-screws-2/)
Do any or your cars have these screws? I am partic interested in late build 70 Metuchen cars like mine.
As ever, thanks for your time guys

Mine didn't but the holes were there. Jack doesn't sell stuff without researching it thoroughly.

Not all 69/70 cars got them as Jack's application description seems to imply. I am not sure why. I have seen many unmolested survivor type cars with BB with and without air etc. that didn't have the screws and no holes. If it had the holes it would definitely have had the lag screws installed at one time. If no holes then of course it didn't get any.It will be interesting to get a read on if a BOSS thing or not.

Is this post for 70 Boss or all 70 Mustangs? If the former, it's in the wrong place.
My signature Boss has the holes in the bracket but nothing in the front core support.
I don't believe the front is unmolested judging by the hood when we stripped it.

Moved the thread to the appropriate location if we're focusing on Boss only.
Also I think that comparing NJ and Dearborn built cars will only muddy the waters and make any research or conclusions useless.
If this develops into something that was done during specific periods of time during 70 production I think including other NJ built cars would increase the sample. Will let the OP decide and we'll adjust titles and location so we can investigate
