Title: Carpet for White Interior
Post by: cob428 on August 12, 2021, 03:35:35 PM
I know there has been discussions on different sites about correct carpet, I am trying to determine on carpet replacement. When I restored this car the first time (in a hurry) I used a carpet with red inserts, is this correct? Or, is it supposed to be black inserts for a white interior?

3W/3WA- White interior/ black carpet with red inserts * (*some cars may have been built w/ black insert or no insert) */ no stripe on white seats

Yes I can:) As mentioned in an earlier thread I've found examples of 69 Dearborn sportroofs/Mach I's and so on with black standard carpet without the red inserts only the single standard heal pad on the drivers side. This would match the carpet used on red interior cars of the same style and body type.

Isn't a Speedglo a type of mini-bathing suit?
