Title: Wanted: C4 shift linkage rod Original Ford
Post by: hertz350 on January 24, 2022, 08:07:57 PM
Looking for a very nice shift rod linkage for the 1966 Mustang C4 transmission. This is different in how it is bent from later years. Looking for one not pitted or scarred from having been adjusted a lot. I am aware ACP and Scott Drake make a reproduction. I am only interested in original Ford. Thanks!

1967 C-4 shift rods are not the same, they are stamped C7ZA-7326-B.

The shift arm or lever, coming from the shifter bucket is straight on a first generation Mustang. Offset more than an inch on the second generation cars.
