I believe you will find that a 64-66 front spring perch (Ford base no 3388, replaced by the 67 type) has a "relatively short", squared end spring stop, and the 67-73 (C7OZ-3388-B) has a taller rounded end spring stop. The replacements also include a rubber "anti-squeek" pad.
