Hi all,
I need to know what is the assembly line part number of the brake light switch for a 67 Shelby GT500.
Anyone know please?
Thanks Kyle.

Did you search for the discussion? I recall a very lengthy and detailed one. I?m at a swap meet so can?t search myself right now.

No I didn't find a discussion about a brake light switch.

Originals looked like this:

The problem was the 1967 switch was fine in a Mustang with a single brake lamp bulb on each side. In a 1967 Shelby or Cougar there are six brake lamp bulbs. The fix was installing a 1969 Lincoln brake lamp switch as a service replacement C9VY- B which has beefier contacts that don't melt as quickly.
The Lincoln switch is the one to use for power front disc / rear drum brake applications.

Thanks to all I found what I was looking for.
Thanks Kyle.
