I have been having a problem with the clutch pedal sticking to the floorboard. I completely rebuilt the system and still have this issue no matter if I adjust the clutch to engage low or high pedal travel. Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone figure out how to correct this? Would converting to 66 rods and equalizer fix this?

Are you using the Ford stock clutch parts and not the centrifugal aftermarket parts? The latter does have a tendency to cause the pedal to stick to the floor at high RPMs, which isn't what you describe. The other part that may be missing is the "over-the-center" spring above the clutch pedal. This HD spring assists in both lowering and raising the pedal.

Using OEM pedal, equalizer bar and springs, Scott Drake bushings. It does not do it every time. If I am careful and stop about 1/2 from the floor it is fine. Might explain why I have seen a 2X4 under the pedal on some of these early 60s fords in the bone yard. (LOL)
