Title: 9 inch rear end snubber
Post by: ntures 2019 on April 25, 2022, 11:13:54 PM
one on the left was taken off a 67-mustang k code for comparison to the bigger one which was taken off a 67 390  anyone know why the one on the right is bigger or what it was made for ?

It is not a pinion shield for a Mustang application. The rubber snubber is the only easily usable part. You could cut the big one down I suppose but to do it right it is probably more trouble then it is worth.

I once cut one of these down and drilled a new hole for the bumper.   Made a real good facsimile of an original.

Probably Torino. I think the Galaxie version is longer.
