You guys like to strut your stuff. Is this clip for a Mustang? Specifically a 67?
-
It's the retainer for a rubber finger from an automatic chicken plucker.
Jim
As far as I can tell, this "clip" does not appear in the"Ford Standard and Utility Parts Catalog, January 1969" book.

I am not familiar with all models of automatic chicken pluckers but I am certain it retained the fuel line at the rim of the gas tank flange on a 67-68 Mustang. It clips into a small hole there.
You have to be careful to not say chicken plucker too fast, it might sound like something else. ;)

Thanks, Marty.
It is indeed a fuel line clip as shown very badly on page 42 of the Chassis Assembly Manual.
Clip 377119-S32 (Olive drab or baked black).
Into the plating pile it goes.

Bill,
That clip is like for the 67 Mustang heater switch that clips to heater controler.
Here is a picture:

It is found on 67-70 as a fuel line clip . Olive drab typically on 67 and some 68's and black oxide/baked black? on later 68-70.

Looks too small for the fuel line clip. The heater control panel guess looks more appropriate

Kyle -- Yep, there too. It's identical. Good eye.
Coralsnake -- I got out the correct size 5/16 drill bit and this would certainly hold the gas line very snugly. As for the larger 68, I don't want to stretch this clip out any further.
It fits into the fuel tank area hole very nicely.

If in fact, the clip is 377119-S32, it's also used on 64 thru 66 Mustangs for the same fuel line retaining.
Jim
Clip, 377119-S2 (note, it's -S2, and is not serviced), is shown in the illustrated section of "Ford Car Parts" (aka MPC) as used in 67 and 68 heater control power cable. I will add it to the hardware spreadsheets (after I finish a couple of other projects).
