Can anyone confirm, or refute, that Boss 351 Engines came with full groove main bearings? Thanks, Chuck

Bump. Can anyone answer this question? I ask because I'm looking at crank oil hole "timing" to the rod bearings. Thanks, Chuck

Don't think I got anything to confirm the design. Might be a quick and easy question for the Boss 351 guys over on the Boss Registry forum

Jeff, I have posted the same question there as well. So far nothing. Thanks, Chuck

This information comes from a friend who worked in Ford Parts Department for decades. It answers my question comprehensively. Others my find it useful in the future. Not using full groove mains on 351C causes rod bearing failure when used with a stock crank. The "timing" of the oil holes were not properly indexed to oil the rods when they needed it the most.

the file type is not typical for most computers. Can you convert it to PDF or double-check that it is truly .pages file type?

Try this https://www.freeconvert.com/pages-to-word
No guarantees, I did not try it myself.

For Windows 10 -
Step 1: Down load the .pages file to your computer.
Step 2: Open the conversion program shown in my previous post. It will appear in the "downloads" directory for conversion
Step 3: Convert using YOUR device to Word:
Step 4: It should show up in "downloads" directory.
This above assumes you are using a computer, not a cell phone.

Here is the same document in a more common PDF file.

Well, if you're going to be that way about it, here's a .docx of the file.

Kind of expected it was going to take someone with a set of Ford bearings or some obscure engineering drawing with the details
