Title: Amp wire clip

I've seen a number of Shelbys with a hole in the pax shock tower. Pic 1 is of my car.

This pic, an extraction from one of Jeff's Unrestored car pics (https://www.concoursmustang.com/forum/index.php?topic=13542.msg83513#msg83513), is from a later March 67 car. It's also one of the few cars I've seen with the hole filled with a clip to hold the amp wire.

I'm not sure if the clip is SAI provided or not. Any information appreciated.

Yes SA added a repurposed Ford clip.Typically seen on the sheath covered amp wires but carried over to some of the tape wrapped amp wires too.

Try AMK.  I think that is where I found one a few years ago.

Is that the same as the ones in front of the radiator on all 67's?

Yes, there are 4 on the lower, front crossmember.

For a Shelby you need 3 pair (5 needed; sold in pairs).

After I tried to fit a spare clip from the parts car to the location noted in pic 2 I see that you have to put this in place before the export brace is bolted down.

Last time I needed these and were using reproduction parts on the car I just bought a package of the 67  front cross member clips. Will see if I have any extras  ::)  Bill PM me with how many you need if you would
